Psychological Testing
Psychological testing at Anderson Counseling Services offers thorough, evidence-based assessments to clarify diagnoses, identify learning and developmental needs, and guide treatment planning for children, adolescents, and adults. Administered or supervised by licensed clinicians, our testing battery may include cognitive and personality measures, along with clinical interviews and behavioral observations. Results are explained clearly in a written report and a feedback session, providing practical recommendations for treatment planning, school supports, family development, and workplace accommodations.
Understanding brings meaningful changes in mental health—by learning about ourselves, our habits, and our potential; We reclaim the ability to heal, make intentional choices, and grow.
Testing Services We Offer
-
Personality testing reveals how someone thinks, feels, and acts. By measuring traits, preferences, and coping styles, it highlights strengths, improvement areas, and stress reactions. Reliable professional tests guide treatment, communication, career/education choices, and progress tracking—interpreted with a person’s history, goals, and daily function to create practical, personalized plans.
-
Cognitive testing assesses language comprehension, reasoning, memory, executive functioning, and problem-solving abilities. By measuring attention, memory, reasoning, language, and processing speed, it reveals cognitive strengths, weaknesses, and patterns. Reliable tests, combined with medical and developmental history, and current daily functioning to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
-
Couples testing assesses relationship strengths and weaknesses, communication, conflict triggers, intimacy and relationship patterns using evidence-based instruments and interviews. Therapists review results in a supportive session and provide clear goals with recommendations for skill-building, decision making, couples therapy, or individual support.
At Anderson Counseling Services we offer three different testing options: Personality testing, Cognitive Testing, and Couples Testing. Read more about what we have to offer to determine which option best fits your needs.
